We will never know, but the number is not as important as the fact that we do indeed save lives.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"news_date\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\"><strong>Announcing Online Appointments<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">CBC is proud to announce the launch of an online appointment Web site, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.DonorTime.com\">www.DonorTime.com<\/a>. Blood Donors can now make their own real-time appointments online for all public blood drives and CBC branch locations at <a href=\"http:\/\/ www.DonorTime.com\">www.DonorTime.com<\/a>. Appointments for business blood drives and other closed to the public blood drives will still need to be scheduled by contacting the blood drive chairperson or by calling 1-800-388-GIVE.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">Donor Information: Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.givingblood.org\">www.givingblood.org<\/a> or at CBC branch &amp; blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically. Individuals with eligibility questions are invited to emai<a href=\"mailto:canidonate@cbccts.org\">l<\/a> <a href=\" canidonate@cbccts.org\"> canidonate@cbccts.org<\/a> or call 1(800)388-GIVE.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica;\">If you have been told previously by the Community Blood Center or another blood center that you should never donate blood, please disregard this message.
